The FAQ pages will be revised once 50 paying customers have onboarded. The current questions are the most common ones we have heard so far.
How much does Brand Atlas cost?
- Scout is free.
- Keeper is 799 per year.
- Guardian is 1,999 per year.
Is there a free trial of Keeper or Guardian?
No formal trial. Scout is the evaluation tier; it is free with no time limit. When Scout’s limits become the constraint (most commonly Update Requests), upgrading to Keeper is immediate and reversible at the end of the period. What payment methods do you accept?
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay on all plans. Bank transfer (SWIFT) on annual plans over $1,000. Cryptocurrency and PayPal are not currently supported. When am I billed?
- Monthly plans. On the day of the month you started the subscription.
- Annual plans. On the anniversary of when you started.
How do I see my invoices?
Settings → Billing → Invoices. Every past invoice is listed with date, amount, status, and a download link. Invoices include your billing details and ours, the line items, and the total in USD.Can I get a refund?
- Monthly plans. Non-refundable. A cancelled monthly plan runs to the end of the current period.
- Annual plans. Prorated refund available within 30 days of payment. Non-refundable after that, but the plan continues until the end of the period.
How do I switch from monthly to annual?
Settings → Billing → Change cadence. The change takes effect immediately; you are charged the annual rate (prorated for the current monthly period) and the next billing date moves to one year forward. How do I switch from annual to monthly?
The switch takes effect at the end of the current annual period. The annual plan runs its full term; the next cycle starts monthly. Can I upgrade mid-billing-period?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately on payment. You are charged the prorated difference between what you have paid for the current period and what the new tier costs for the remainder. See Upgrading and downgrading. What if I downgrade and I have more than the new tier allows?
The downgrade takes effect at the end of the current period to avoid mid-period feature loss. Before the downgrade applies, you are asked to:- Choose which team members to remove or pause if the new tier has fewer seats.
- Confirm which Horizons to archive if the new tier has lower active limits (Brand Atlas auto-archives in order of last edit if you do not specify).
- Acknowledge the loss of AI features if applicable.
Do you offer discounts for non-profits or education?
We consider these case by case. Write to hello@madeby.wtf with a description of your organisation and what you would use Brand Atlas for. We are not in a position to offer broad discount programmes; specific arrangements are possible.Do you offer multi-atlas discounts?
A custom arrangement is available for accounts running five or more atlases. The discount is typically applied at the account level rather than per-atlas. Write to hello@madeby.wtf.Can I pay in a currency other than USD?
Pricing is in USD. Your card issuer (or bank, for transfers) handles the conversion at their rate. Invoices are issued in USD with the converted amount shown for reference. What if my payment fails?
Brand Atlas retries automatically (immediate, +24h, +72h). After three failures, the subscription enters a 14-day grace period:- The atlas remains active.
- You are notified daily.
- The brand owner can update the payment method to resolve.
Is my subscription tied to a specific person?
The subscription is tied to the account that holds the brand owner role. Transferring authorship to a different person also transfers responsibility for the subscription; the billing relationship stays with the account until then. For organisations where billing should be on a different account from the working brand owner, consider transferring authorship to a billing-focused account and granting Editor rights to the working brand owner. The arrangement is unusual but supported. Are taxes included in the price?
No. Prices are pre-tax. Tax is added at the rate applicable in your jurisdiction. For UAE customers, 5% VAT applies. For EU and UK customers with a valid VAT number, VAT is reverse-charged for B2B; otherwise it is added at the local rate. See Billing, invoices, payment.Related pages
