Two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication is strongly recommended for brand owners and Editors. The atlas holds material with real consequences; the second factor is a small investment for a large reduction in account-takeover risk. Brand Atlas supports:- Authenticator app. Time-based one-time codes from any TOTP app (1Password, Authy, Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator). Most common choice.
- Passkeys. WebAuthn / FIDO2 passkeys. Most resilient; supported on modern macOS, iOS, Android, and Windows devices.
- Hardware security key. YubiKey or equivalent. Belt-and-braces for high-security environments.

If your account has access to more than one brand atlas, the atlas switcher is in the top-left of the portal beside the brand name. Account settings are shared across all atlases you can access; brand owner settings are per-atlas.Closing your account
To close your account entirely (across every atlas), write to support@brandatlas.pro. Account closure is irreversible after a 30-day grace period. If you only want to leave a specific atlas:- As a team member. Ask the brand owner to remove you. You can also leave from Settings → Atlas → Leave.
- As an editor. Same as team member.
- As a brand owner. Transfer authorship to another team member first. Until authorship is transferred, you cannot leave; the atlas cannot be ownerless.
